  Therese Marie Louiselle, 84, a longtime resident of Colorado Springs, passed away February 5, 2012.
  She was born February 14, 1927 to the union of French Canadian parents Ernestine and Auguste Doiron.
  On April 14, 1950 she married Richard L. Louiselle.  When Richard retired from the Navy as a Chief Petty Officer E-7, they moved to Colorado Springs to be near their daughter, Linda, and their grandchildren. 
  Therese was a devout Catholic, attending Holy Family Catholic Church in Security, our Lady of Ft. Carson Soldier’s Memorial Chapel at Ft. Carson and Healers Chapel at Evans Army Community Chapel at Ft. Carson where she was a Communion Minister.
  Therese’s life revolved around her faith, and her daughter and grandchildren.  St. Anthony was her patron saint.  Therese was well loved in her church community, and leaves many friends who will always remember her smile, cheering them through their best and worst days.
  She is survived by her daughter, Linda May Santiago of Security; her sisters, Yvette Cormier of Canada, Jeanne D’Arc Coiron of Northberwick, Maine and Lucille Perron of Alfred, Maine; her brothers, Leo Doiron and Aurore Normand of Sanford, Maine; 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. 
  She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; a son, Daniel Aimee Louiselle; and her brothers, Joseph, Wilfred, and Lionel Doiron.
  A Mass for Therese will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, February 10, at St. Dominic Catholic Church, 5354 S. Hwy 85/87, Security.  Inurnment will be at Notre Dame Cemetery in Springvale, Maine, next to her loving husband, Richard.
  In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Therese may be made to St. Dominic Catholic Church, 5354 S. Hwy 85/87, Colorado Springs, CO 80911.

Fountain Valley became a settlement in 1859 (founded by pioneers Tom Owens and Amos and Mary T Terrell.) They were soon joined by a third family, Mathias and Barbara Lock. Also founded in 1859 were Colorado City, Denver, Golden and Central City. The locals established a charter in 1871 and incorporated in 1903. Fountain is the oldest incorporated town in the Pikes Peak Region.
