Wendy’s Supports Senior Citizens
The Fountain Wendy’s restaurant recently hosted a fundraising night benefitting the Fountain Valley Senior Center. A large group of seniors and others turned out to support the event. Many of them are shown above with “Wendy” (Hanna Schaefer.)
“The seniors had a ton of fun and we did too! I’m hoping that we can do it again sometime real soon,” said Ava Carlos, Field Marketing Coordinator. SUBMITTED PHOTO COURTESY OF JESSIKA CRANDALL, WENDY’S.

Barbara Bragdon, Pete Beuse and Friends will be entertaining us with romantic music to dance to on Feb. 10. Doors will open at 5 p.m. Dinner will be served at 5:30 and music starts at 6:30. The cost is $10 and $6 for those four and under and over 90. Come over and escape the ordinary with your friends!
Valentine’s Day is Feb. 14! Come listen to romantic musical entertainment provided by Dennis Crosser at 11 a.m. At 11:30 we will play “The Newly Wed, Not So Newly Wed Game.”
We will also have a “Hug Contest.” When you come into the center you will receive a “Paper Heart” to be pinned to your clothing in plain sight. The game is to hug as many people as you can and if you are the first to initiate the hug, you can steal their “paper heart.” The person with the most “paper hearts” by HIGH NOON will be the winner. However, you can steal only once from any person playing. (You can hug them all you want, but you can only steal one of their hearts. Plus you have to stay in the main auditorium while playing the game.) Then join us for lunch provided by our friends at the Golden Circle Nutrition Program.
GAME DAY! Join us for a day of cards, board games, dominoes, cribbage or whatever game you’d like……If we don’t have it here, bring it with you! Sat, Feb. 25, from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Admission is only $5 which includes lunch and a door prize.
