Mesa Ridge High School Retires Fatima “TNT” Maddox’s Jersey
Former Mesa Ridge High School student/athlete and current Harlem Globetrotter Fatima “TNT” Maddox had her high school jersey retired at a special assembly last Tuesday at the school. Maddox, who graduated in 2003, scored over 1,100 points in her high school career and holds the school records for steals in a season and career. She also set Class 4A state records in the long jump and triple jump.
She is only the ninth woman to play with the Globetrotters and the first since 1993. This is her first year with the Globetrotters.

Fountain Valley became a settlement in 1859 (founded by pioneers Tom Owens and Amos and Mary T Terrell.) They were soon joined by a third family, Mathias and Barbara Lock. Also founded in 1859 were Colorado City, Denver, Golden and Central City. The locals established a charter in 1871 and incorporated in 1903. Fountain is the oldest incorporated town in the Pikes Peak Region.
