FFCHS JROTC Hosts Blood Drive

April 19, 2017

On April 25 and 26, the Fountain-Fort Carson High School Junior ROTC program will host its annual blood drive held in the school gymnasium. This blood drive is open to the public and will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day. You must be at least 16 years of age and weigh a minimum of 110 pounds. You can donate up to 2 pints of blood. Just one pint of blood can save up to three lives.

Studies show that donating blood is not only beneficial for the people it helps, but also it is good for your body. When blood is drawn, it gets rid of old blood cells and that allows new blood cells to form and keep you healthy. To donate, call Ms. McLain at the high school at 358-4385 for an appointment. Appointment slots will fill up quickly!
