2nd Annual Chick-fil-A Family 5K to Benefit Pike's Peak Suicide Prevention

Everett Waters, the son of Rachael and Dr. Jarod Waters, owners of Fountain Chiropractic and Wellness Center, makes friends with one of Chick-fil-A's cows with a little encouragement from his mother. They were all in attendance at the 2nd Annual Chick-fil-A Family 5K last month at Metcalfe Park.

The 2nd Annual Chick-fil-A Family 5K took place June 17, at John Metcalfe Memorial Park in Fountain. The race is produced by Chick-fil-A Fountain, whose goal is to use the resources it has been given to make a difference in the Fountain Valley community. Proceeds from the Chick-fil-A Family 5K benefit Pike's Peak Suicide Prevention. The race took place on the 2nd anniversary of the Fountain Chick-fil-A restaurant's opening. The race features a 5K run/walk and The Great Cow Race, a free 1-mile kids fun run.
