Virginia Arlene Street, 94, passed away May 29, 2017.

Virginia was born December 1, 1922, to D.M. and Eunice Ralston in Lincoln, KS.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Irl Street, her parents, and her sister, Eileen Coakley.

A U.S. Army wife, Virginia lived in a variety of places, including Japan.

Virginia and Irl purchased a house in Security in 1955, and they lived there for over 50 years.

Virginia was a secretary at Widefield High School. After retirement, Virginia and Irl spent many summers fly fishing in Almont, CO.

Virginia is survived by her daughter, Patricia (Rodney) Nyborg; her grandson, Rodney (Jacqui); her granddaughter, Shaylyn (Chris) Larmore, her great-grandchildren, Rodney and Annika Nyborg and Kyler and Rilan Larmore; her nephew, Anthony (Jana) Cross, and her nieces Libby Burchard and Gina Cross.

Virginia loved her family, fishing, the Broncos, and, found great joy in laughing with those to whom she felt closest.

The family would like to thank those who loved and cared for our Mother and Grandmother especially the staffs at A Doctor's Touch, and New Century Hospice.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, August 14, at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, 1201 Leta Dr., Security. Interment will follow at Ft. Logan National Cemetery.
