August 9, 2017

Christy McGee PIO for Fountain-Fort Carson School District 8

Fountain Middle School 8th Grade Social Studies Teacher Mr. Sean McRae is awarded the 2016-2017 Employee of the Year award. Sean was one of three finalists, selected due in part to his transformational teaching style. Sean has been teaching with FFC8 since 2007.

School District Eight welcomed back approximately 1000 staff members at a special Welcome Back Breakfast Monday morning.

School Board President Suzanne Foster led the team in a spirit competition and Superintendent Dr. Keith Owen had opening remarks about partnerships and the progress of projects like FMS, the Abrams playground, the new math curriculum, communications, and safety.
