2's & 3's Outdoors: Silly Squirrels

January 11, 10 a.m. - 11:15 a.m.

Share the joy of your 2 or 3 year-old child's discovery as he or she enjoys a story and an exploration hike outdoors. $3 per person including adults & siblings. Prepaid reservations required 520-6745. Limit 24 participants.

Fountain Creek Winter Bird Count

January 13, 8:30 a.m. - 11 a.m.

Beginning to advanced birders are invited to observe and record the numbers of bird species and populations found in Fountain Creek Regional Park. $5 per person. Reservations required.

MLK Service Day

January 20, 10 a.m. - Noon

To honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King who asked, "What are you doing for others?" we invite 10-20 people to help staff remove invasive elm trees from the nature center trails, then join around a campfire for s'mores! Must be able to use a handsaw. Free. Pre-registration required.
