Widefield High School Student Arrested for Credible School Threat

A Widefield High School student was arrested Monday by El Paso County Sheriff’s deputies for a credible school threat.

According to Jacqueline Kirby, Media Relations Manager/PIO for the Sheriff’s Office, the student was charged with Inciting Destruction of Life or Property, a Class 6 Felony. He was also charged with Interference of Faculty, Staff and Students at an Educational Institution.
