B.O.S.S. Soldiers Visit Talbott STEAM Innovation School to Interact With Students

While Deployed They Will Be Pen Pals With Students

On Friday March 2, members of the Building Opportunities for Single Soldiers unit (B.O.S.S.) visted Talbott STEAM Innovation School. Soldiers in the 4th Infantry 1st SBCT 4-9 IN ABLE company will be deploying in mid-April.

The soldiers read Dr. Seuss books to classes, played dodgeball during P.E., helped in the STEAM lab, served lunch, ate with students, played basketball at recess, and honored the school with a flag presentation. 

The school painted rocks to give to the soldiers who plan to take them overseas. The soldiers will be pen pals with the students while they are deployed, too....
