The April 7th owl and raptor hike at the Fountain Creek Nature Center was a success. In spite of the cold weather, everyone showed up and made the day a fun time. A few extra layers of clothes, a hot cup of coffee and a desire to find owls and raptors in the wild was all we needed. Finding some owls and seeing some hawks was an added bonus. I think our little group of 25 had a good day!
