Local Middle School Student Sets Up Donation Box for Fire Victims at Fountain's Family Dollar Store

Kaytlin Koesy, a sixth grader at Fountain Middle School, wanted to help victims of the recent #117 Fire.

She asked the staff at the Family Dollar located near the intersection of North Santa Fe and East Ohio Ave in Fountain if she could set up a donation box inside the store. The manager didn't hesitate in giving the OK.

As a result over $200 worth of donations have been placed in the box. The items range from personal hygiene items to laundry soap and softeners and towels to pantry food stables.
