Widefield Wins Awards, Earns Spot at Nationals for SkillsUSA

In the Team Works category 3rd Place went to Obed Orozco (The Colorado School for the Deaf & Blind), Jace Leimkuhl, Hunter Preussner, Devin Haller (MRHS)

Widefield School District 3 won three big awards at the 2018 SkillsUSA Leadership and Championship conference April 18-April 20.

Nicole Carter, the district Career and Technical Education (CTE) director, was named "CTE Administrator of the Year." Nat Sobin, engineering teacher at Mesa Ridge High School, and Branden Martinez, instructor at the MiLL, received awards for having "Quality SkillsUSA Chapters."
