Fountain Police Raise Money to Help Local Residents Fix/Replace Windshields Damaged During Hail Storm

On June 30, Fountain Police Department personnel served a benefit spaghetti dinner to benefit Fountain residents who didn’t have the financial means to replace or repair their vehicle’s glass following June 6’s big hail storm.

Approximately $3,500 was raised at the event held at the First United Methodist Church of Fountain.

According to FPD Media Relations Officer Lisa Schneider, over the last three weeks, officers have identified those in need of window repair by calls for service, referrals and in-person contact. Last week, police department personnel started contacting those...
