Fundraising Pages Set up for Fountain Man and His Dog, Both Injured When Road Caved In

Jason Zimmerman, a Fountain resident, is known for being "a really nice guy and he would do anything for anybody." He was driving north on Old Pueblo Road around 1:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 24, with his dog, Rufus, when he, in his sister's truck, fell into a ravine where Old Pueblo Road had washed out. He was later airlifted to the hospital with his broken leg, broken facial bones, a few broken ribs, collapsed lung, and some fractured vertebra. His small dog Rufus was thrown from the truck but was later found and also required surgery. Family and friends have set up GoFundMe pages for both...
