Uninsured Damages to Public Infrastructure Helps Determine Whether Federal Emergency Assistance Will Be Available Locally

Regarding getting any federal assistance because of the recent hailstorms and damage, Fountain City Manager Scott Trainor told the News staff, "from what has been described by the county experts, the totals are calculated from uninsured damages to the public infrastructure (roads, drainage, buildings, vehicles, equipment, etc.) owned and operated by the City of Fountain and/or the county; not from uninsured losses of members of the public.
