September 12, 2018

AYSO Region 1225 began its 21st year of youth soccer in the Fountain Valley. We are very proud of to play an active role in the world’s largest soccer club!

Saturday was the first soccer games of the fall soccer season. We were super excited to see soccer players and coaches, both “new” and “old” come onto the fields to begin a great soccer season. The region looks forward to an exciting fall season. Thank you to all friends and families who came to cheer on the players!

Tigers – Coach Carlos

This first game was exciting for the Tigers; they were both anxious and nervous. Preston scored a goal for the team, which brought the team’s spirits up! Great first game!!

Dragons – Coach Rodger

The Dragons did a great job playing as a team. Madeline and Christian battled it out and kept the ball from the other team. Korbyn and Henry did all the scoring, with five goals and four goals respectively. Great job, Dragons! This coach is proud of each one of you!

Wolves – Coach Wanda

Great game, Wolves! Z, Russell, and Maddie were all great as goalkeepers while Austin played awesome defense, and Enso played great offense.

Green Cheetahs – Coach William

The Green Cheetahs played very well. I enjoyed all the passing and communication, on the field, between teammates. Shane did an awesome job as goalkeeper while Julius scored four goals, for the team. Great game, Green Cheetahs!

Dominators – Coach William

The Dominators did a great job with their passing and with their communication while on the field. Mackenzie did an awesome job for never playing before while both Aitan and Haydyn did a great job leading the team. No goals were scored, but that’s okay, it was the first game, and the team tried hard.

Knights – Coach Eric

The Knights did a great job playing together, as a team. Danielle, Jurelle, and Evan all scored goals. It was a good first game and a great learning experience for the entire team.
