The Fountain-Fort Carson Trojans lost their bid for the Class 5A South League championship as they fell to the Regis Jesuit Raiders, 45-14, last Thursday night in Fountain.

Fountain-Fort Carson stands at 3-1 in league. Regis Jesuit is 4-0. One game remains for both teams.

Against Regis Jesuit, problems began early for the Trojans, as injuries and turnovers stopped all momentum. They were held off the scoreboard until the middle of second quarter, when TaShon Smith connected to a wide-open Gregory Horton for a 56-yard touchdown.
