American Legion Riders Post 38 Deliver Thanksgiving Baskets to Local Families

American Legion Riders members display some of the items which were put in the Thanksgiving baskets. Prior to Thanksgiving, members of American Legion Riders Post 38 in Fountain, with the help of Fountain Police Department personnel, delivered 100 food baskets to local families just in time for the holiday. The baskets contained all the fixins' for a holiday meal. The items were collected via donations, fundraising, and purchases by members. FPD personnel selected and vetted the children and their families based on their exposure and select criteria in school. If there were extra baskets or ID'd families that were either reluctant or declined to receive the charity, pre-selected disabled...
