The event kicked off with Santa lighting the tree. The family-friendly festivities include hayrides, caroling, story time, kids' crafts, holiday shopping, Santa and Ms. Claus, s'mores at the fire pit, and much more. Food vendors were also on hand for those attendees wanting a bite to eat. Also, the parks and recreation office served as a drop-off point for non-perishable food items, gently used or new coats, and unwrapped new toy donations. The toy/food/clothing drive started last month and ran through the celebration. The donated items will be distributed to local families in need during the holiday season. Pictured are highlights from the event.
