Mesa Ridge Wrestlers Win Fairview Tournament Mesa Ridge won the Fairview Tournament Saturday in Boulder. Mountain Range was second and Columbine came in third. It was a joint dual and individual tournament. The Grizzlies won all three of their duals over Lakewood, Columbine and Thunder Ridge. In the individual part of the tournament Mesa Ridge had two champions: Jared Volcic (195) and Colton Doyle (138). Mesa Ridge also had runners-up Hunter Saiz (126), Isaiah Brown (145), Devin Haller (152), Kenneth Guinn (170), and Niko Suragdeen (182). Mesa Ridge/Widefield Split Basketball Doubleheader

District 3 rivals Mesa Ridge and Widefield split a girls-boys basketball Colorado Springs (Class 4A) Metro League doubleheader Thursday at Widefield High School.

The Widefield boys defeated Mesa Ridge 60-56 while the Mesa Ridge girls beat their rivals 57-40. The two schools will meet again Feb. 14 at Mesa Ridge in their final regular season games for both schools.
