Fountain Valley's Bald Eagles

Our local Bald Eagles have been busy this week. If you've had a chance to make a drive around Big Johnson Reservoir in the last week or two, you've probably noticed the resident Bald Eagles being very active.

It is mating season for the raptors so most are paired up mating and building new nests or beefing up last year's nest. For those of you unfamiliar with Big Johnson Reservoir, it is the dried up reservoir you can see to the west of Powers Boulevard and north of Fontaine Boulevard.
