A total of 10 Mesa Ridge wrestlers qualified for the state wrestling tournament following regional competition last week.

The tournament gets underway Thursday at the Pepsi Center in Denver.

"This is the highest number of wrestlers going to state in the history of the school," said Head Coach Rob Braaten. "I thought the whole team wrestled well all weekend. We had to win some tough matches including a challenge match to get some of these guys to state. All of their hard work clearly paid off. "

The top six wrestlers in each weight class placed while the top four advanced to state....
