The subject of paying for the building of a life-sized bronze statue to honor the 100th anniversary of the City of Fountain's Electric Department was brought up at the Fountain City Council's March 19 meeting. This was the second time the issue has been discussed.

On Sept. 15, 1919, the first ordinance concerning an Electric Light Plant and Regulating the Control of the Same and Fixing the Rates Charged for Electrical Current was adopted.
