Owl and Hawk Walk

It's time for the second annual Owl and Hawk Walk at Fountain Creek Nature

Center, this Saturday, April 6, at 9 a.m. Last year's walk was such a hit that the

nature center has invited me back again.

This year will be a little different. I am going to go over the different habitats

that the different raptors like most. We will start the walk from the nature center

and our first stop will be a Great Horned Owl's nest. Mama is still on eggs as of

April 1. Daddy is staying close and there is a good chance we will see him. Eggs

may have hatched this week but it is still hard to tell. Mama is sit...
