Friends of Library Book Sale is April 20

The Friends of the Library Spring Book Sale is scheduled for 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, April 20, at the library located at 715 Aspen Dr.

“Whatever your reading pleasure be it fact or fiction, adult or juvenile, classic or best sellers, the Friends of the Library have books you will like,” a spokesperson said. “Find the best prices on used books at this sale.”

The costs of the books are: Hardbacks-$1,  Paperbacks- .50,  Children’s- .25, Cash and checks only.

The schedule is as follows: 8-9 a.m. Friends Only Hour, memberships available at the door (Individual $5, Family $15, Lifetime $25, and Corporate $50), 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. Book Sale, 2- 3 p.m. Books-by-the-bag $5 (bags provided). Children’s books, mysteries, paperbacks, videos, audio cassettes fiction and nonfiction adult books will also be available for purchase.

The Friends of the Library is a non-profit organization, whose members advocate libraries, learning, and the promotion of reading. The Friends’ contributions make it possible for the library to provide excellent programs for the local community. Profits from the sale are used to provide prizes for writing contests, the summer reading program, and adult programs. For more information call 391-3191.
