Fountain Creek Nature Center's Junior Docent program is a volunteer opportunity for teens (12 and older) who are outgoing, want to develop public speaking skills, learn about nature and will commit to volunteering at least four, 3-hour shifts during the summer from June through August.

A completed application and interview are required as well as a training on Thursday, May 30, from 6-8 p.m.

Jr. Docents will sign up to give informal, on-going nature presentations to nature center visitors.  Jr. Docents should be willing to be great representatives for El Paso County Nature Centers, responsible, and self-starters.

To apply for these limited positions, contact Nancy Bernard, [email protected] for an application and interview.
