Legislative Wrap-Up #1


Friday, May 3, was the last day of the 2019 legislative session. During this time many bills have come and gone. With a 41 to 24 majority, Democrat-sponsored bills survived while the Republican- sponsored bills did not. Of course, literally hundreds of bi-partisan bills passed through all chambers and made it to the Governor's office.

Below are some of the bills I've sponsored that have met success this session. I ran 21 bills. My co-sponsor and I killed one bill, introducing it in a better form and one bill was killed in committee.
