Fountain Council Considering New Carport Regulations

Carports Already Ordered Will Be “Grandfathered” For Residents

 


A lengthy discussion about carports and the future regulations of them in Fountain took place during the May 28 city council meeting. It began with a presentation of suggestions from city staff regarding regulating carports, which until this time didn’t exist.

Planning Supervisor Kristy Martinez explained that Fountain presently just deferred to the what Pikes Peak Regional Building Department follows.
