Work Resumes on Railroad Crossing in Security

Work began Monday to repair and improve the Main Street railroad crossing in Security.

BNSF Railway resumed work on the Main Street railroad crossing just east of U.S. 85/87 in Security on Monday.

Work on the Fontaine Boulevard and the Main Street railroad crossings began in early March. Repairs to the Fontaine Boulevard crossing were completed, but work on the Main Street crossing had to be delayed because of inclement weather and scheduling conflicts. Those repairs were originally scheduled to immediately follow the work on Fontaine.
