Cars of All Makes and Years Attend Thunder in the Valley Car Show

Cars lined up for the Thunder Contest at the annual Thunder in the Valley Car Show in Metcalfe Park Saturday, July 13. Drivers were revving up their engines vying for the title of having the engine with the loudest "Thunder in the Valley." The annual Thunder in the Valley Car Show was held July 12 and 13 at Metcalfe Park in Fountain. Participants entered over 150 cars spanning from pre-1949 to current models.

Friday night some of the participants drove their cars in a parade through Fountain and attended a pre-registration party. Live music was provided by the Hillbilly Hell Cats.

Saturday the public was invited to come out and see all the cars parked throughout Metcalfe...
