Commissioner Gonzalez to Host Town Hall Meeting Tonight in Southeast El Paso County; Assessor, Other County Reps to Attend

 


El Paso County Commissioner Longinos Gonzalez, Jr. will host a Town Hall Meeting from 6 to 7:30 p.m., tonight, Wednesday, July 31, at the Colorado Centre Metro District Fire Department at 4770 Horizon View Drive, in southeastern El Paso County. It is just northeast of the intersection of Marksheffel and Bradley roads.

"I'm looking forward to this opportunity to hear the thoughts of people from my district and learn more about ongoing needs and concerns," Gonzalez said. Gonzalez represents Commissioner District 4, which encompasses southern and eastern El Paso County, including the towns of Fountain, Security/Widefield, Hanover, Ellicot, Rush, Yoder and the south-southeast areas of Colorado Springs as well as the unincorporated area of Stratmoor Hills.

El Paso County Assessor Steve Schleiker will attend to discuss the recent 2019 property reappraisal and answer questions.

A representative from the El Paso County Public Works Department will also be available to take questions and discuss county roads and infrastructure. The El Paso County Sheriff's Office will also have a representative on hand to answer questions.
