Fountain Voters Will Be Asked To Consider Sales Tax Increase On November's Ballot for Street Improvements

At the Fountain City Council meeting on Aug. 13, the council unanimously approved Resolution No.19-048 which will place a question asking for a sales tax increase on the Nov. 5 ballot for voters in the City of Fountain. The increase is for funding capital improvements to city streets, and authorizing the exemption of revenues collected from this sales tax increase and earnings thereon from revenue and spending limits of TABOR (Article X, Section 20 of the Colorado Constitution.)
