Fountain Resident Shares His Passion For Tae Kwon Do And How Martial Arts Changed His And His Students' Lives

John Williams, at left, is pictured with his son, Malaki, and Williams' friend and fellow black belt fighter, Josh Hordon. Williams won his 15th grand championship at a competition with the Midwest Martial Arts Southern Conference, MMASC. He competed in the lightweight and light middleweight fighting divisions in Hardy, Arkansas. He also won the Grand Championship for overall performance in mixed martial arts using a combination of skills in American and Korean Tae Kwon Do and Shotokan.

John Williams of Fountain is one of those caring individuals who is always helping people and giving back to his community, locally, and everywhere he travels.

One of his many passions is teaching youth Tae Kwon Do, serving as a mentor and supporting kids as they develop new skills and strengths, both physically and mentally; learning tools to help them cope in their everyday lives.
