Seven District 3 Students Help Colorado Springs Thunder 18U Team Win First Fast Pitch Softball State Title

Seven Widefield School District 3 students were members of The Colorado Springs Thunder fast pitch softball team which won the 2019 Mountain State 18U Championship during the tournament held recently in Brighton. It was the first-ever state championship for the team which had never finished higher than fourth.

The District 3 students included Aubree Krupp, Ariadna Martinez, Sara Tutton and Katrina Robertson, who attend Mesa Ridge High School and Hannah Hall, Savannah Valdez and Sierra Segura, who attend Widefield High School. Other players on the team included Savannah Starr, Ella Gab...
