* Rural Area Meal Program

or RAMP, is for individuals age 60 and over who live in El Paso County. This program is for older adults who are not able to get to the nearest congregate meal site. This includes individuals needing assistance due to physical, emotional, or social impairment. Please leave a message at 719-520-6471 with your name and phone number; we will return your call.

* Transportation - (By Appointment Only)

For seniors 60+ who live in the Fountain Valley area. Transportation provided to medical appointments, shopping, personal business, to the senior center, special outings and other destinations in El Paso County. Call 520-6472 at least 48 hours in advance to make arrangements.


Dinner on the Town–

Join your senior friends and make some new friends with our “Dinner on the Town” program. We meet the last Wednesday of the month at a designated restaurant for fun and fellowship. Leave the driving to us for a small fee, or drive on your own and meet us there. Everyone pays for their own meal.

* October 23: Olive Garden – 513 N. Academy Blvd., Colorado Springs

Leaves senior center at 4:30 p.m.

Travel Club Events

We are on the road again with several fun trips planned. Leave the driving to us and enjoy the sights and events.

Saturday, October 26 - Game Day: CSU Pueblo Tailgate and Football Game, Tickets, Tailgate and Transportation - $22, Leave senior center at 11 a.m. Leave to return after the game. Food and Beverage at the game on your own. Registration deadline: October 16.

* October 29: Denver Art Museum - Guided Monet Tour, Tickets $30 and Transportation $25, Leave senior center at 10 a.m. Lunch on your own. Leave Denver Art Museum – Open, Registration deadline: October 22.

The Kittie Paster Thrift Shoppe is open from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday through Friday and is located at 5725 Southmoor Dr. next to the Fountain Valley Senior Center.

Stop by and see our updated Thrift Shoppe. We have brand new & gently used items and more coming in all the time. We have a .50 cent bargain room and sell $3.00 clothes bags daily. We accept donations Monday through Friday from 10 a.m-2 p.m. *All proceeds help support the mission of the FVSC.
