Widefield Tree Lighting Set for Dec. 3

Widefield Parks and Recreation Department is having its 14th annual holiday tree lighting celebration on Tuesday, Dec. 3 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at 705 Aspen Drive in Security.
The free community event will feature crafters/vendors, hayrides, kids crafts, marshmallow roasting, hot cocoa and apple cider with cookies, story time, and more.
Attendees are encouraged to donate non-perishable food items, new unwrapped toys, and new or gently used coats to help local families in need.
