Members of the historical society are showing a presentation of Joe Kenda’s Homicide Hunters/Murder Confession at 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 12, in the Community Room of the Fountain Library, 230 S. Main St.

The story concerns a confession found in a home located at the corner of the intersection of Alabama Ave. and N. El Paso St. in Fountain and the story behind the confession. The over 100-year old confession had been on display at the museum.

The national TV documentary series features retired police detective Lt. Joe Kenda examining murder cases from the first homicide call to solving the crime. Members of the crew were in Fountain and Colorado Springs last spring to film scenes for the episode, including exterior shots. They also interviewed Estes.
