Habitat for Humanity growing in Fountain

Habitat for Humanity volunteers install a window in a new home in Fountain earlier this month.

A pair of Fountain residents are moving from a 1973 mobile home to a newly built house, thanks to the hard work of countless volunteers.

Andi Price and Randy Sanford, the future homeowners, joined some of those workers and representatives from Pikes Peak Habitat for Humanity on Saturday to celebrate completion of the build.

Price has been Sanford's caretaker and best friend for 10 years. At the age of 33, Sanford was diagnosed with a liver disease and given a prognosis of three years to live. Moving to Colorado, Randy's health has made a turn for the better, one that doctors call a miracle....
