* Rural Area Meal Program

or RAMP, is for individuals age 60 and over who live in El Paso County. This program is for older adults who are not able to get to the nearest congregate meal site. This includes individuals needing assistance due to physical, emotional, or social impairment. Please leave a message at 719-520-6471 with your name and phone number; we will return your call.

* Transportation - (By Appointment Only)

For seniors 60+ who live in the Fountain Valley area. Transportation provided to medical appointments, shopping, personal business, to the senior center, special outings and other destinations in El Paso County. Call 520-6472 at least 48 hours in advance to make arrangements.

Dec. 24 & 25. Senior Center is CLOSED for the Holidays.

Dec. 27. New Year’s Eve Celebration – 5-8 p.m. Come join us for an exciting evening and celebrate 2020 with us. Music will be provided by the “Front Range Big Band.” There will be food, dancing and sparkling drink to ring in the New Year.

Jan 7. The Senior Center will be hosting a “Coffee with...” program, the first Tuesday of every month. This month we will have Program Specialist, Retired Marine Rich Munoz and Cemetery Representative, Retired Army Brandon Jardine of the Pikes Peak National Cemetery. They will be available to answer questions regarding to eligibility and burial benefits for veterans and retirees and their family.

Jan. 8. Elvis Presley Birthday Celebration Are you an Elvis fan? Elvis Presley Birthday Celebration with our own Mr. Nicky. We will be celebrating Elvis’ 84th birthday. Mr. Nicky performs from 11 a.m.-Noon.

Community Partnerships available: The Senior Center has started offering Community Partnership programs to the businesses of the Colorado Springs and Fountain Valley Area. If your business has a passion to serve and support senior programs in the Valley, please contact Mark Bowers @ 719-520-6471.

New Phone Numbers, Email and Website coming in January: The Senior Center will have new phone numbers in January. The senior center number will be 600-2644 and the transportation number will be 600-2643.

Our Kittie Paster Thrift Shoppe is open from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Mon.-Fri. and is located at 5725 Southmoor Dr. next to the Senior Center.

Stop by and see our updated Thrift Shoppe. We have brand new & gently used items and more coming in all the time. We have a .50 cent bargain room and sell $3.00 clothes bags daily. We accept donations Monday through Friday from 10 a.m-2 p.m. *All proceeds help support the mission of the FVSC.
