Mueller State Park offers variety of programs to kick off new year

DIVIDE – It’s especially peaceful in winter at Mueller State Park, but there’s plenty going on in January including a series of First Day Hikes on Jan. 1 to ring in the new year.

We have gentle hikes so you can enjoy the silence in the snowy woods, watch for signs of wildlife and learn their different tracks, and see the hardiest of birds searching for food in the trees.

In addition, we have scheduled one of our “forest bathing hikes” following the Japanese art.

And we offer a hike for beginning snow-shoers.
