Presidential primary ballots in mail

County clerks across the state of Colorado began mailing out ballot packets for the March 3 Presidential Primary beginning Monday. Clerks have until this Friday to mail ballots to registered voters.

In 2019, Gov. Jared Polis and Colorado Secretary of State Jena Griswold announced March 3, 2020, as the new date for Colorado's presidential primary.

The El Paso County Clerk and Recorder’s Office mailed about 391,000 ballots to active registered Democratic, Republican and Unaffiliated voters for the primary.
