Fountain Police have arrested one suspect alleged to have robbed a Subway restaurant twice in the last month.
The Subway at 6871 Mesa Ridge Parkway was robbed on Jan. 20 and Feb. 10. At the time of both robberies, there was limited suspect information to provide to the public for their assistance, police said.
On the same day as the second incident, 29-year-old Ean Meadows was contacted on an unrelated investigation with the assistance of Colorado Department of Corrections. That investigation provided evidence linking Meadows to both Subway robberies.
Meadows was taken into custody and is currently being held at CJC on a parole violation. Charges are still pending related to both robberies.
This continues to be an active investigation due to the fact there may be additional suspects, police said.
