March in the Garden

I love the weather in Colorado. We can have minus-12 one day and 60 degrees the next! It's not fun as a gardener, though. This sporadic temperature variation can continue all the way through June some years. But there are ways to have a beautiful garden in spite of the challenges here. I've grown vegetables and herbs everywhere from the tropical paradise of Hawaii to the frigid forests of upper Michigan and each area has its unique challenges. Colorado is no different.
