* Rural Area Meal Program

or RAMP, is for individuals age 60 and over who live in El Paso County. This program is for older adults who are not able to get to the nearest congregate meal site. This includes individuals needing assistance due to physical, emotional, or social impairment. Please leave a message at 719-520-6471 with your name and phone number; we will return your call.

* Transportation - (By Appointment Only)

For seniors 60+ who live in the Fountain Valley area. Transportation provided to medical appointments, shopping, personal business, to the senior center, special outings and other destinations in El Paso County. Call 520-6472 at least 48 hours in advance to make arrangements.

March 7. Game Day at the Center! Come join your friends, participate in a potluck lunch and play games. The fun starts at 11 a.m. and continues till 5 p.m. $3.00 per person.

March 13. Join us as we travel to the Pikes Peak Center to hear the Colorado Springs Philharmonic and celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with “Celtic Spirit.” Tickets available at the Senior Center.

March 28. Monthly trip to Cripple Creek! Like to go play, but hate the drive? Join us on March 28 for a fun day in Cripple Creek. $16 roundtrip charge to ride on the bus.

BINGO, BINGO, BINGO: We play BINGO every Thursday at the center. All are welcome; the fun begins at 1 p.m. Hot dogs, popcorn and sodas are available for purchase.

Community Partnerships available: The Senior Center has started offering Community Partnership programs to the businesses of the Colorado Springs and Fountain Valley Area. If your business has a passion to serve and support senior programs in the Valley, please contact Mark Bowers at 719-600-2644 or [email protected]

New Phone Numbers, Email and Website: The Senior Center has new phone numbers. The senior center number now is 600-2644 and the transportation number is 600-2643. The general email is [email protected] and the website is http://www.fvscenter.org.

Volunteer Opportunities: The center needs volunteers for front office, thrift store and drivers. Call Jolene or Mark at 600-2644 for details.

Our Kittie Paster Thrift Shoppe is open from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Mon.-Fri. and is located at 5725 Southmoor Dr. next to the Senior Center.

Stop by and see our updated Thrift Shoppe. We have brand new & gently used items and more coming in all the time. We have a .50 cent bargain room and sell $3.00 clothes bags daily. We accept donations Monday through Friday from 10 a.m-2 p.m.
