The second committee hearing for House Bill 1119 concerning PFAS regulation has been pushed back again due to partisan disagreements and vocal objections from airports and a few water districts. 

Republican legislators are siding with the airports to allow an exemption so they can still use AFFF / toxic firefighting foam. Democrat legislators are trying to keep the bill bi-partisan and allowing more time for negotiations with the concern of protecting our health.
