A Fort Carson soldier was killed March 10 in a motorcycle crash at the intersection of Goldfield Drive and Fontaine Boulevard.

The Colorado State Patrol reports that Patrick Goble was driving his 2014 Harley-Davidson eastbound on Fontaine when he was struck by a Jeep Cherokee traveling south on Goldfield after the Jeep proceeded from the stop sign.

The driver of the Jeep was uninjured, but Goble was pronounced deceased at Memorial Hospital. CSP noted he was wearing a helmet.

The crash remains under investigation. Alcohol and speed are not suspected. CSP is asking for any witnesses that have not provided a statement to contact Trooper Joshua Yoder at (719) 544-2424.

There is a GoFundMe page to collect donations for Goble’s family, including six children. To donate, visit gofundme.com, “Patrick Goble memorial services & family aid.”
