Peterson AFB to limit access

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 response and related change in health protection conditions at Peterson AFB and Cheyenne Mountain Air Force Station, base officials announced the trusted traveler program will be suspended starting April 24.
While the program is suspended, authorized DOD identification card holders cannot escorted non-DOD card holders on PAFB or CMAFS. Acceptable forms of authorized identification include Common Access Cards, retiree/dependent ID cards, and Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS) cards. The trusted traveler program allowed Department of Defense identification card holders the ability to escort non-identification card holders on base.
Individuals who do not have authorized base credentials but have an acceptable purpose to enter the installation can obtain a visitor pass at the Peterson and CMAFS visitor centers Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. During non-duty hours, Peterson’s west gate and Cheyenne Mountain’s main gate off NORAD Road will issue passes.
Delivery services will still be allowed on the installation after the driver is vetted.
