New order allows some businesses to reopen

As of April 27, there are 13,879 COVID-19 cases in Colorado, 879 in El Paso County. Governor Jared Polis released a new executive order titled Safer At Home on April 26. The order lasts 30 days from April 27 but can be amended or extended, and allows for 10-15 percent more social interactions and for businesses to slowly reopen. At a press conference on Monday, Polis emphasized the need to stay safe even though people have more freedom after the stay-at-home order.
