Several railroad crossings around Fountain have been closed for repairs recently, and work will continue next week. Officials say railroad repairs include replacement of railroad ties and installation of new crossing pads and approaches. The last location in the current rotation of repairs is Comanche Village Drive, which has been rescheduled for June 2.However, not everyone is happy with the work. Some residents complain that new vehicle crossings can be bumpy, particularly the one on Link Road. Also, residents continue to request a light at Comanche Village Drive.
